it's beginning to look a lot like summer!

YUP! summer is definitely here! it's getting so darn hot! Temp check 88F (31C)

Tub's at the office... kids are busy! Good! At least I don't have to entertain them while I veg out in front of the computer practically all day, haha! I can't believe how much time I'm 'wasting' away over here - I really should be more productive but instead I find myself tinkering with this computer no end! There's always something for me to do in front of this screen - online shopping, checking email, chatting with my students, online shopping, posting stuff on the MBs, and did I mention online shopping? Haha. Bad, bad girl! I should be spending more time with the kids, really. I should also be working on some papers for the school, preparing my tax return, training the new maid, or taking the kids to some summer classes, among other things.

Nikki and Ian have been spending so much time in the pool they've gotten so dark! :o Nikki's claiming she can now do the back float :) OK, so I check her out.... hmmmm, maybe she hasn't been spending that much time in the pool afterall! Haha! Actually, maybe I should take her to an advanced swimming class. It's just that I feel soooooo lazy. I don't want to have to drive, I just want to sit around and maybe scrap. I should also probably discuss summer classes for the kids with G already... maybe tonight, if I don't forget about it!

Ian gleefully played with some acrylic paint yesterday! It was fun to see him enjoying himself so much! :) He was in and out of the pool all day, as well! He doesn't seem to be bored around here, but I think some summer lessons would do him good.

Well, in truth, I was a bit productive yesterday... Ma was here for a while and she helped tend my so-called garden. So I was out of the house, working in the "garden". It now looks a whole lot better! :) Thanks, ma! Whatever would I do without you? Haha, something funny I would like to note here... as we were repotting some plants, Ian asked, "Lola Urly (I love how he says Erly), why are you're killing our plants?" Haha! I love the way kids' minds work!

I was able to work on 2 pages and a card! Yay! I intend to work on another page today... however, I think I should prioritize my tax return and stuff for school! However, the problem is that whenever I get a concept for a page (like I do now...), I start to feel my scrapping mojo coming on and then I find it difficult to focus on anything else anymore, unless I complete that page! Then another problem crops up! I have so much mojo left over, I then start getting another idea for a page, and you know the drill! What a vicious cycle! Then I end up never getting anything else done! Wicked!

I submitted this page to the BG gallery for consideration... hopefully they accept it! I love how this page turned out.
