scrappy goodness

remember this post?

at last, it finally happened!

after foregoing sleep to put together 7 sample LOs (will post them soon!), i set out to meet up with Mia.

the event was scheduled to start at 900H but we arrived at the venue by 830H. thought we still had some time to help take care of a few loose ends, but wow! some scrappers got a better head start than we did! HAHA! why am I not surprised?

needless to say, put 50 something scrappers around scrappy goodness, coupled with Tin's flair for event-organizing, and what do you get? a day of a roaring great time!







i must confess, i was so envious of the girls who got to sit down and do some serious scrapping. collectively, these girls were able to complete 300+ pages, not counting the cards and mini albums. whoa. talk about scrapping mojo, huh?

wow.

so i was loitering in front of my computer early this morning when a tweet alerted me to the news.

i immediately had to google his name and still couldn't believe what i read.

no matter what he may have done towards the twilight of his life and even though he may have turned quite bizarre, i still believe that he made an influential contribution to the music arena. ok. i was never really a huge fan but Michael Jackson was a music genius. he. was. magic. his music will live on but he will be missed.

may you rest in peace, Michael.

i'm up to my neck with work so i haven't had the chance to post any updates lately :(
