For this week, we've been tasked to work on a monochromatic page! I had to go through all my papers just to find ones which show only 1 color! Whew!! It took me forever, but I finally managed to find some old paper lines! Good thing I had the good sense to hold on to them, haha! Another toughie was getting embellishments together, as we were required to use at least 2 kinds! :o Thank heavens for my lucky stars, lol! but I have had to dye my lace just to make it fit in. Here's what I came up with:
Journaling: the bond between sisters is sometimes tightly woven, sometimes loosely held, but never broken
Supplies: Papers: Chatterbox, 7 Gypsies, Fontwerks, Bazzill; Embellishments: Prima flowers, WRMK snap, Fancy Pants chipboard, lace; Others: MME transparency, Stampin' Up ink, American Crafts pen, Ranger embossing powder, Glaze pen
*sorry about the glare - I couldn't find a better way to take a good shot of the LO because of the transparency on top of the photo

just popping by to say HI! :)
love your monochromatic page!!!
This is so pretty Christine! It's so hard to do a monochromatic layout but you pulled it off really well!
ooooooh, that is so pretty Christine!!I agree with Iris, you pulled it off perfectly!
Girl, you're really doing well on the Scrapperie challenges!! It really is very difficult to pull together monochromatic papers. I had a monochromatic challenge this past week at scrappy giraffe as an option and skipped it b/c of this difficulty! You pulled it off, though. It's gorgeous!!!
