had to supervise catering service for our school's Parents' Night event last night... and i got home at around 930PM. By then, SK's 2nd crop was in full-swing.
Wati hosted an awesome tutorial on a pop-up mini book and most of the girls were already halfway done with their pages. yikes! i hastily went through each of the posts (about 8 pages in all) and as soon as I got the instructions for the cardstock dimensions, I went to town! i had the base for the pop up all set a little after 1030PM but fatigue took over and I fell asleep just as I was about to add patterned papers to my completed mini! HAHA! Luckily, I got up at 445AM so I didn't waste any time.
Finding photos was the most difficult task. I picked red and green cardstock thinking it'd be a piece of cake matching them with some photos in my file. Ooopsie. what was I thinking! I had to go through a couple of boxes until I finally decided on a batch of photos from our trip to Bacolod.
Here's what I came up with.
uhm, i had the bright idea of adding flock to my 'Christmas' title but at the last minute, I decided on glitter sugar coating instead. By this time, I had already attached some Prima bling. lo and behold my horror when i saw that some sugar coating stuck themselves to the Prima bling adhesive. darnit! oh well. another lesson learned.
supplies: Bazzill cardstock, MME papers, Prima tape and crystals, Hambly transparency, ribbon (thanks, Babette!), Catslife Press, Label Tulip and Purple Onion stamps, Versa and Nick Bantock ink pads, 7 Gypsies and AC velvet alpha stickers, QK Lucy, Doodlebug glitter sugar coating, Zig pen
TFL. Have a fab Sunday!
